Uniforms

Cub Scout uniforms are an important part of the Boy Scouts of America program and one of the methods of scouting. Each boy gets to be part of a group demonstrated by their uniform and each group has a personal sense of identity. The scout uniform is also a display case for a scout's individual accomplishments and recognitions. We wear the uniform to associate ourselves with the principles to which we are committed - character development, citizenship training, and physical and mental fitness. The uniform is not intended to hide our individuality, but it is a way we give each other strength and support.

By wearing our uniform, we show others that we are a member of Cub Scouting. We also remind ourselves to live up to Cub Scouting's ideals and the promise we have made. The official uniform also gives a place to display the awards and emblems that show our personal achievements and those of our den and pack.  Below are links for information on the Class A or Field Uniform.  When scouts are asked to wear their Class B or Activity Uniform, that means they should wear a scout-related T-shirt.  Pack 467 does not require scouts to wear official uniform trousers or socks.  Uniforms should always be worn to pack and den meetings and to Cub Scout events sponsored by the pack.

Brag vest

The brag vest or patch vest is not part of the official uniform, but we encourage scouts to have one. It is a red vest that is worn over the Cub Scout uniform.  Segments and any patches that do not go on the official uniform are worn on this vest.  Please note that patches obtained form participating in activities and events should only go on the vest if they are pack events.  Patches from den events should not go on the vest.  Generally the patches can go wherever you want except the round council patch should go on the center of the back with the Pack meeting segments going around it.
